ANU, Canberra, 1-3 November 2006

In cooperation with RSISE, NICTA Canberra and Seeing Machines

Travel Awards

VisHCI 2006 will provide a number of travel awards for participants based outside Canberra. These travel awards are intended to provide financial support with the cost of travelling to Canberra. Priority will be given to authors of accepted papers and to Australian-based participants, but international participants are welcome to apply for a travel award as well.

One of the aims of VisHCI 2006 is in particular to support student participation in the workshop which we see as an important opportunity for students to present their work and to network with both national and international researchers. Such networking forms an important part of their studies and is a core goal of ARC research networks such as HCSNet. To support this aim, a number of specifically allocated student travel awards will be available for student participants. Again, priority will be given to authors of accepted papers and Australian-based students, but international student participants are welcome to apply for a travel award as well.

Travel awards for non-student participants have a value of AUD400.

Travel awards for student participants have a value of AUD500.

Applications for the travel awards have closed.
