Creating the Top-Level Schematic

1.

Copy the top-level schematic file adder4-s.sch from your adder4-s project into you main adder4vs folder, and re-name it as adder4vs.sch.

2.

Start the Schematic Editor and open the schematic adder4vs.sch. Edit the title block and enter your name and student number.

3.

Add the schematic to the project:

Hierarchy $\to$ Add Current Sheet to Project

4.

Place four instances of the macro symbol adder-v in the appropriate locations, edit the macro symbol as appropriate, and very carefully join the wires, as in CLAB1.

5.

Check for any errors via Options $\to$ Create Netlist and reading the log window.
