Exercise:

1.: Simulate the circuit and obtain the diode V-I characteristic.
This simulation makes use of the DC sweep feature. DC simulations are performed for values of V_D in the range -1 V to 0.8 V in increments of 0.05 V. To check these settings, go to Analysis $\to$ Setup $\to$ DC Sweep.
2.: From the graph, determine the current flowing through the diode when V_D=-0.5 V, V_D = 0 V, and V_D = 0.5 V.
