Getting Started

The first thing to do is to log on to the computer system running PSPICE.

Having logged on, you should create a working directory in which to do all your PSPICE work.

Now you can start up PSPICE. To do this, start the SCHEMATICS program:

Start $\to$ Programs $\to$ PSpice Student $\to$ Schematics.

The SCHEMATICS window will appear, Figure 1.

Now that you have SCHEMATICS started, you can load or create circuit drawings (schematics), run a simulation and view the results.

Take a look at the window, noting the layout. You will learn to use many of the features during this course.
