About me: I am with Australian National University and CSIRO. Previously, I was a visiting professor at MIT, an associate professor at Masdar Institute of Khalifa University, a senior research fellow at A*STAR in Singapore, a Croucher Foundation research fellow at University College London, and a visiting scholar at IBM Watson Research Center and BBN Technologies. I received a Ph.D. degree from University of Cambridge, and a B.Eng. (First-class Honours) degree from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
I am an area editor of ACM SIGEnergy Energy Informatics Review, an associate editor of IEEE Systems Journal, and was a TPC chair of ACM e-Energy 2018.
I received a Best Paper Award at ACM e-Energy 2021, a Best Paper Runner-up Award at ACM BuildSys 2018, and have been selected as a number of Best Paper finalists. I co-founded a start-up specializing in intelligent systems and big data analytics for smart building management. Recently, I organized ACM EnergyDLT: Workshop on Energy, Blockchain & Distributed Ledger Technology.
