Meeting Summary
from: May 24th 00 at 3:00pm
with: Sunil, Chanop, Chris, Jordan, Peter

Agenda
  • Status on individual activities

  • Status

  • Peter is developing Task, Select and Inter-Process Communications common modules for use in VxWorks.
  • Chanop is implementing his Thruster Controller software in C and integer for 68332 execution. Thruster Controller software testing is waiting for the Kambara PSU noise to be reduced. Chanop's experiment plan for May- June was distributed. Stereo frame grabbing software development is continuing in Linux.
  • Jordan reported that execution of Terence's Kalman Filter was unstable after 2 iterations. Simpler simulations can be debugged to determine the cause. The sensor model is almost complete.
  • Sunil's Operator Interface constructs and transmits Pan/Tilt commands to the sub and receives and decodes the new Telemetry Router state packets.
  • Chris has been investigating noise filtering on the PSU. The Simulink version of his controller is now working.

  • Next Meeting: 1500 Wednesday, May 31st

    New Action Items
  • Clean the pool in preparation for Kambara experiments.
  • Test the new leak fix in the bottom tube.
  • Peter to implement Battery voltage sensing, leak detector reading and simple State Estimation.
  • Chanop to develop safety software to avoid damaging the motor circuitry.

  • Previous Action Items
  • Peter to chase up replacement parts for the Siliconix device. Dave Wettergreen is pursuing parts in USA.
  • Chanop to document the experiments he wants to carry out using kambara. Brief plan has been prepared and passed around for comment.

  • Some items to do:

  • Purchase vent for shed
  • Paint new cart

  • Underwater Robotics Project at the ANU Robotic Systems Laboratory
