Australian citizens and permanent residents with First Class BE Honours from reputable universities are encouraged to apply for PhD admission and scholarship. The deadline for applying is 31 October in each year. I prefer to work with students who already have a Masters degree, but this is not essential.
International PhD Scholarships in our College are very competitive. You should be one of the top students from a top institution in your country to have a good chance of securing scholarship. Please see this link first for more details. The deadline for applying is 31 August in each year. However, there may be a mid-year round around April each year. If you think you can meet the requirements you can then contact me directly. I prefer to work with students who already have a Masters degree, but this is not essential.
At the moment, I am particularly interested in applicants who would like to work on the information theory of wireless cooperative networks and network coding.
