    About Me

I was born in Jakarta, Indonesia in November 1982. In 2001, I came to Singapore to study electrical & electronic engineering at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. I earned my bachelor degree (1st class honours) in July 2005. I did my final year project in the field of brain-computer interfacing and was awarded a silver prize in the College of Engineering Technology Exhibition Week. Subsequently, I worked as a research officer in the neural signal processing group in Institute for Infocomm Research - Agency for Science, Technology, and Research, Singapore. In 2007, I started pursuing a combined MICT-Ph.D. programme in statistical machine learning field in the Australian National University, Australia under supervision of Prof. Dr. Alexander J. Smola, Prof. Dr. Dale Schuurmans, Dr. Tiberio S. Caetano and Prof. Dr. Wray L. Buntine. I also work closely with Dr. Kristian Kersting and feel honored being an honorary member of his STREAM group.
