I am a Research Fellow in the Research School of Computer Science, The Australian National University (ANU). Before joining ANU, I was a researcher in the Canberra research lab of NICTA. I had also hold adjunct positions in the College of Engineering and Computer Science (CECS) at ANU, and in the School of Engineering and Information Technology at the University of New South Wales at the Australian Defence Force Academy .
I got my Ph.D. degree in Computing Science from the University of Alberta, Edmonton, Canada in 2006. My supervisor was Dr. Walter F. Bischof. During 2002-2005, Dr. Terry Caelli was my co-supervisor. From 1999 to 2002, I was studying in the Department of Computer Science, Concordia University, Montreal,Canada, supervised by Dr Ching Y. Suen and Dr. Ke Liu. I also worked in the Centre for Pattern Recognition and Machine Intelligence (CENPARMI) as a research assistant and technical staff.
I am co-organizing ICME2012 Workshop on Human-Focused Communications in the 3D Continuum (HFC3D), which is to be held on July 9, 2012 in Melbourne, Australia.
