My past research experiences include the following stages.

Year 1995 ~ 2000:  (post-graduate study period, Zhejiang University)

-------- Chinese Character Recognition, OCR and handwriting recognition, Pattern Recognition.  (Master Thesis)

-------- Low-level processing, statistical inference, image segmentation.  (PhD. Thesis)

Year 2000 ~ 2003:   (Lecturer and Researcher, Zhejiang University)

-------- Traffic Surveillance Project (NSFC China)

-------- Mobile Robot Navigation Project (State Key R&D Program, China).

Year 2004 ~ 2006:   (Research Fellow, Australian National University)

      -------  3D Computer Vision,  Multi-view Geometry.

      -------  3D Shape Analysis.

      -------  Bio-Vision and Medical Imaging.

From 2004 (late 2003) I have the honour of being working with Richard Hartley----the world leading professor in geometric computer vision.    My research focus has then shifted from project-driven Applied Research to Fundamental and Theoretic Research, in the area of MVG (multiple view geometry).  Also from this year 2004 I started to publish in English and mainly on international top vision conferences.
