Some useful commands to play around with LogicDroid :
-
adb push <monitor_module>.ko <target>
Use this command to copy the kernel module from the computer to the device
-
adb shell insmod <monitor_module>.ko
Use this command to attach the monitor module to the kernel. Note that it is the path to the monitor module that is already copied to the device rather than the path to monitor module in the computer.
-
adb shell rmmod <monitor_module>
Use this command to detach the monitor module from the kernel.
-
adb shell
Use this command to enter the shell command on the device. Instead of directly invoking rmmod or insmod from the computer shell, can just type "insmod <monitor_module>.ko" or "rmmod <monitor_module>" to achieve the same effect.
-
adb shell pm list packages
Use this command to see the list of installed apps on the device.
-
adb install <app_name>.apk
Use this command to install the test suite apps on the device.
-
adb uninstall <app_package_name>
Use this command to uninstall the test suite apps. Note that instead of just the name, Android requires the full package name of the app which can be enquired using "adb shell pm list packages" command
