Intro
He is currently a (post-doctoral) research fellow in Department of Computing, Macquarie University.
Research Interests
His research interests are in statistical modelling and learning for document and text analysis. His research lies between statistic machine learning (SML) and Natural Lanugage Processing (NLP). In particular, he is intereted in
- Topic modelling with different discourse features, e.g, topic structure, topic collocations, etc.
- Non-parametric Bayesian methods, e.g., Pitman-Yor Process, Dirichlet process
- Markov Chain Monte Carlo methods, e.g., Gibbs sampling, Slice sampling, etc.
- Tensor factorization
- Statistical ranking models, e.g., the generalized Mallows model
