In general, I'm happy to supervise projects that bridge the gap between theory and applications. Of particular interest to me are projects that implement new algorithms, study their practical feasibility and provide a detailed comparision with other existing approaches. Projects that provide implementations of new and algorithms and a detailed comparision with existing techniques are of particular interest. Suggestions for projects can be found on CATE.
