A Note on Using GCC Under UNIX

As for the BSVC simulator, you can use GCC under UNIX (on bohm) to develop your code. The procedure is almost exactly the same as above, with a minor change.

• Download the linker file sbc5206-srec.ld. into your SBC working directory.

• Run the linker script as follows (note the new .L). For example,

  m68k-coff-gcc -m5200 -Wl,-s -Wl,-n -L. -Tsbc5206-srec.ld hlab61s.o -o hlab61s.x

  (This should be typed on a single line!) Any script or make files should be edited accordingly if you wish to use them under UNIX.
