Aim

• Design assignment - 10 marks.

• further use of Xilinx Foundation software and FPGA hardware

• learn to use the State editor and VHDL code to create sequential logic circuits
• simulation, compilation (synthesis) and programming of schematic-based digital designs
• testing of hardware designs

In this lab you will implement and test in hardware the bin/gray counter you have designed (PREPARATION - see below), and the up/down/stop counter given in CLAB3 and lecture notes.
